如何為國家禱告？ (關國瑞牧師)
今天讓我們放大眼光來為國家禱告，從聖經的教導中來學習什麼是蒙福的道路。我們都知道沒有福音，人就無法得到新的生命。美國的林肯總統在南北戰爭的時候，曾經發表了一篇全國演說，他說「每個國家與百姓都必須倚賴神的全能和管理，我們必須謙卑地向神承認自己的罪惡過犯，憂傷地悔過，同時心存盼望，知道真正的悔改必能得著憐恤與赦免，因為這是聖經所宣示的偉大真理。」他並宣布4月30日為全國禁食禱告日，要求人民在神面前認罪、禱告。但是我們要如何為國家禱告呢？
一、真正的幸福從神而來 –以耶和華為神的、那國是有福的！
二、真正的回歸真神 –因為只有罪帶來墮落和沉淪
三、聖經教導我們要為君王和一切執政掌權者禱告
謙卑地向神承認自己的罪惡過犯與認罪悔改是蒙福的唯一途徑。讓我們來到主面前，求主赦免我們貪婪的罪，讓我們能夠成為聖潔為主所用，領受從主而來的幸福。
歷代志下 7:13-18 (和合本)
- 我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或降瘟疫在我子民中，
- 這稱為我名下的子民，若是謙卑自己，禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地。
- 我必睜眼看，側耳聽在此處所獻的禱告。
- 現在我已選擇這殿，分別為聖，使我的名永在其中；我的眼、我的心也必時常在那裏。
- 你若行在我面前，效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，
- 我就必堅固你國度的王位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷有人治理以色列。』
2 Chronicles 7:13-18 (NIV)
- “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,
- if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
- I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
