最重要的是？ (冉茂圻傳道)
即使我們口頭說了一萬句「主啊我愛你」，即使我們心裡感動一萬次說「主耶穌你是我最重要的」，但我們在日常生活中的所言所行，我們的選擇和決定，反應出我們真實的屬靈光景。今天我們要借著腓立比書的這段經文，以保羅為例子，來思想我們做主門徒的價值取向。什麼是你生命中真正最重要的？
最重要的不是出身身份，不是學術地位，不是社會認同；最重要的是認識基督：曉得主復活的大能，與祂一同受苦，效法祂的死。
腓立比書 3:4-12 (和合本)
- 其實我也可以靠肉體，若是別人想他可以靠肉體，我更可以靠著了。
- 我第八天受割禮，我是以色列族便雅憫支派的人，是希伯來人所生的希伯來人。就律法說，我是法利賽人；
- 就熱心說，我是逼迫教會的；就律法上的義說，我是無可指摘的。
- 只是我先前以為於我有益的，我現在因基督都當做有損的。
- 不但如此，我也將萬事當做有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。
為基督丟棄萬事我為他已經丟棄萬事，看做糞土，為要得著基督，- 並且得以在他裡面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，乃是有信基督的義，就是因信神而來的義；
- 使我認識基督，曉得他復活的大能，並且曉得和他一同受苦，效法他的死，
- 或者我也得以從死裡復活。
- 這不是說我已經得著了，已經完全了，我乃是竭力追求，或者可以得著基督耶穌所以得著我的。
Philippians 3:4-12 (NIV)
- though I myself have reasons for such confidence.If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more:
- circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;
- as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.
- But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
- What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ
- and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.
- I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
- and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
- Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
